The FOSS BacSomatic™ Milk Analyzer provides rapid milk hygiene testing. BacSomatic is the first integrated system for bacteria testing and somatic cell counting, offering full automation with minimal reagent handling and consistent test results.
Integrated Somatic Cell Counting and Bacteria Testing
A fast, automated alternative to manual testing methods, delivering immediate results. It estimates bacterial type and counts as well as somatic cell count within 9.5 minutes, and 1.5 minutes for somatic cell count alone.
More Accurate than Alternative Methods
A fully automated process eliminates the risk of human error and inconsistencies, while ready-to-use reagents in a closed cabinet system ensure precise and consistent dosing for each measurement. A reagent indicator displays the remaining number of tests. The unique reagent concept includes control samples to ensure quality and compliance with GLP. Online remote monitoring ensures consistent performance and high uptime.
