How to use:
-
Soil pH testing
- Put about 1 tablespoon of soil into a clean cup or bowl.
- Slowly add distilled water until the soil reaches a pasty state, stir well with a spoon. The amount of water may vary depending on the soil type.
- Let the mixture sit for about 1 hour; if the soil becomes dry, add a little more distilled water. Dip the pH test strip into the soil sample for about 20 seconds, then remove it and rinse gently with distilled water.
- Compare the color of the test strip with the included color chart to determine the pH value.
-
Solution pH testing (water, urine, saliva, laboratory solutions, …)
- Dip the test strip directly into the solution to be tested.
- Remove the strip immediately and compare the color with the standard color chart to determine the pH.
Note:
- To ensure accuracy, limit the test paper's exposure to air or sunlight for long periods. Store in a dry place, avoid moisture.
- The test paper cannot determine acid or base solutions with a concentration lower than 0.01%.
